INGREDIENTS

DEHYDRATED MEAT\FISH

In our recipes, we always use dehydrated meat or dehydrated fish as the first ingredient, as they offer a higher nutritional density. The dehydration process takes place at low temperatures, removing only the water from the fresh meat or fish and keeping all the essential nutrients intact. This method gives dehydrated meat and fish a high concentration of nutrients. For example, 1 kg of fresh meat contains approximately 70% water and only 12% protein, while 1 kg of dehydrated meat offers 0% water and a concentrated 48% protein, resulting in a significantly higher nutritional intake. Likewise, dehydrated fish retains a rich amount of nutrients, making it a valuable source of protein and other essential nutrients.

RICE

It is the ideal cereal to include in the dog's diet, as it provides a large quantity of rapidly absorbed carbohydrates, releasing immediate energy.

Thanks to its high carbohydrate content, it is perfect for very active dogs, as it provides the fuel needed to sustain intense physical activity. In fact, carbohydrates are converted by the body into sugars, which are a ready-to-use source of energy and are consumed quickly. In addition, this cereal is rich in minerals such as iron, calcium, potassium, iodine, zinc, magnesium and sodium, as well as containing proteins and fibres. It also provides various vitamins, including vitamin A, vitamin C and B vitamins. It has the ability to absorb excess fluids in the dog's intestine, contributing to digestive well-being thanks to its high fibre content.

It is particularly suitable for dogs with digestive or absorption problems, such as those suffering from inflammatory bowel disease (IBD in dogs), as they tolerate a low-fat diet better, in which this cereal plays a fundamental role.

BARLEY

Contributes to heart health: Barley is beneficial for the cardiovascular system thanks to vitamin B1 and niacin, which effectively help lower blood cholesterol levels.

Supports intestinal function: The high fiber content of barley promotes healthy intestinal transit, helping to prevent constipation. These natural fibers also help eliminate accumulated toxins, reducing the time the intestinal walls are exposed to harmful substances and thus reducing the risk of certain types of cancer. The fibers present in barley also have a calming effect on the intestinal walls, improving overall digestive well-being.

Aids digestion: Barley stimulates the production of digestive enzymes, facilitating proper digestion and absorption of essential nutrients. It also plays a positive role in bone health: thanks to its rich phosphorus content, barley helps maintain strong bones and teeth, phosphorus being a crucial mineral for skeletal structure.

CARROT

This vegetable is a true source of essential minerals, such as iron, calcium, magnesium, copper and zinc. It is rich in pro-vitamin A in the form of carotenoids, and also provides vitamins B and C. Among all vegetables, it is the main source of beta-carotene, which the body can convert into vitamin A as needed. These nutrients offer powerful antioxidant benefits, strengthen the immune system and have anti-aging effects. They also promote proper bowel function and improve vision in low-light conditions.

APPLE

It has a very low calorie content and offers a rich assortment of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin A, C, K, folic acid, phosphorus, magnesium and potassium. This food helps prevent gastric disorders and is rich in pectin, a fiber that regulates the absorption of glucose, keeping blood sugar levels under control and ensuring slow and constant digestion. In addition, the presence of vitamin C supports better oxygen circulation, thus facilitating correct cellular respiration.

In addition, vitamin C strengthens the immune system, helping to maintain the body's natural defenses high.

B vitamins are crucial for the proper functioning of the liver and nervous system, for converting carbohydrates into glucose, and for metabolizing fats and proteins. This fruit is also a good source of minerals, with calcium and potassium in abundance, and also contains sodium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, fluoride, zinc, and copper in significant quantities.

It is also rich in antioxidants. Among the most relevant compounds are sorbitol, pectin and lignin, which support digestive functions and contribute to intestinal well-being.

FLAX SEEDS
